Who I am

Hi, I’m Dakota Buttrey.

Founder of Westward Films

Born and raised in Whatcom County, video production has been the only “job” I’ve ever known. It’s been the catalyst for pretty much everything in my life. I’m privileged to call this my job and I am thankful for every project I’m a part of and every client I work with.

Video is more than just moving images to me, it’s a way for real stories to combine with visuals & audio to craft something that brings real impact.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and a father, and I’ll probably have some sort of racing on.
